and academic life.
I graduated from the English-medium medical program at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2000. I completed my specialist training in thoracic surgery at the Atatürk Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Center in Ankara.
After working at Şanlıurfa State Hospital and Düzce University, I joined Çukurova University in 2011. In 2012, I undertook three months of lung transplantation training at the Medical University of Vienna. I became an associate professor in 2011 and a professor in 2018.
